We’ll be celebrating Farm Aid 2023 with one (1) night of camping & tailgating right across the street from Ruoff Music Center. Or as we like to call it, Deer Creek.
As many of our “seasoned ” hippies know, commercial development has slowly taken over the land surrounding Sleepybear, resulting in 50% less space for camping & parking than the previous years. Sleepybear Campground still has it’s same great location, unbeatable vibes, convenient amenities & friendly staff- just much smaller than before.
CAPACITY WILL BE VERY LIMITED, so don’t wait to score your camping passes. Sleepybear Campground will sell out.
One vehicle per camping pass. Pets discouraged.

Event Details
Sleepybear Campground will be open for camping on Friday, September 22nd at 12:00 PM (noon). To camp on Friday, you must have purchased your valid Sleepybear, Eventbrite camping pass for Saturday, September 23rd. Upon arriving to the front gate, we will verify your Saturday reservation and collect cash for Friday night’s stay.
Camping:
Check-In: Saturday, September 23rd at 10:00 AM
Check Out: Sunday, September 24th at 12:00 PM
One Night Tent Camping: $75 – Includes ONE night of camping for TWO people & parking for ONE vehicle.
- Solo travelers same as above.
- Additional people: $40 upon arrival.
- Additional vehicles: $40 upon arrival.
One Night Camping RV/Camper: $175 – Includes ONE night of camping for up to FOUR people & parking for ONE RV/Camper.
- Additional people: $40 upon arrival.
- Additional vehicles: $40 upon arrival.
Sleepybear Campground events will go on no matter what- rain or shine, concert or no concert. We will do our best to provide you with a great camping experience – Park Ranger Pete.
